Did anything unusual happen the day that you hit the jackpot?
"Well it was a Wednesday and I was supposed to be at work. But the previous Saturday a girl at work needed to do something so we swapped shifts. So I was off, which is rare for a Wednesday."

What was your initial reaction when you won?
"I'm not the type of person who gets excited very easily. The first thing I did was call my dad. But, while explaining how I won the jackpot I was shaking a little."

How will you spend your winnings?
"The first thing I will do is pay off my car loan. I will also buy a nice gift for the girl at work who enabled me to ‘take the day off.' I'll buy some other gifts for my family and put the rest in my savings account."

How long were you playing before you hit the jackpot?
"I was playing for about 20 minutes before I won the jackpot. I deposited $30.00 and lost it after a few minutes. I deposited another $100.00 and about 10 minutes later I won."

What piece of advice has most helped you through life?
"Ricky Nelson says it best in his song called the Garden Party. 'You can't please everyone so you have to please yourself.' My dad reminds me about this saying a lot when we talk. I don't mean for to sound selfish, but I really do believe in this."

What is your dream holiday destination?
"Sometime in the near future I would like to take month off of work and travel over seas and visit some countries in Europe. I have always wanted to do this."

What do you do in your spare time?
"I like to watch movies, travel, and hang out with friends."

What is your ultimate goal in life?
"I really don't have an ‘ultimate life goal.' My only wish is for me and my family to live a long happy life."

Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
"I am 29 years old and single. I have one sister (Kristi) who is married and has two kids. My parents (Stan and Sue) are the best parents I could have ever asked for. They have always been there for my sister and me whether we were good or not."
